I've just finished the very-alpha version of the desktop app ( download OS-X desktop app ) - and the next in my todo is shaping up the iPhone app .
I'm planning to simplify the UI and making it more standard that can fulfill the HIG requirements. Definitely a lightweight notification system will be added to alert users (if set) about updating their stats. There is a really annoying thing in the current app - namely the table cell event - right now I only set the event for the little blue disk and not the whole cell. Sorry about that.
