The reason it took so long I've got a great opportunity to work in London :) I invested all my time there, but now finally I can spare some time to the site.
iOS application
New iPhone app :) I realized the chart preview was kinda useless as it was a really raw version of the charts on the website. From feedbacks it was clear that for users the most important thing is data, summary, totals, etc. So I made a new design, applied the scheme of the website and added some extra info. It's in the review process, just got the notification that somebody is reviewing it at the moment. Until it's live, here you are snapshot:Import / export
It was a long time requested feature of the service. It's important that the data users are adding to system actually belongs to them. They can see it, upload it or potentially get it all.
The export functionality can be found on each statistics pages among the action links:
You can get a standard CSV format. Simple and most of the office applications can read it.
Import is still in beta phase and only available from this link: http://statdiary.info/data_import. It's strict with the input format right now. Only standard CSV files, with 3 columns: datetime (in string), data and comment (optional). You can select which existing stats you want to populate with the data, or you can create a new one as well:
Widget
Widget was a result of a hack day at my company. We wanted to show some out our charts on a dashboard site to impress customers. That bought the idea of viewing stats outside of the StatDiary site. Making widgets seemed pretty obvious. The way it works: you go to a chart page (Widget is a new action link), or http://statdiary.info/create/widget, select what charts you want to see, set the size and generate an embeddable HTML code. You can insert it to any site:
Two things are important. You can put any amount of charts in it. The other important to know that's gonna be visible. Each embeddable code snippet has a secret hash in it. This hash makes sure that only the configured content is visible. It also means nobody can guess other hashes, so it's not possible to get charts, unless you make it public and somebody can see it.
Let's make it clear with an example. You have 8 statistics. You generate a widget showing your coffee stats. That 1 widget has 1 dedicated secret hash. If you put the widget somewhere visitors will see it. But that's all really. Nobody can craft a widget to see any other charts because of the secret hash system.
Also know that a widget is realtime. Each time it has a new data it will be shown in the widget too :)

I hope you'll like these new addons. There are still loads of new improvements have to be done, so I won't be bored.
Bests,
